SafeHaven of Tarrant County, Tarrant County’s largest and most comprehensive domestic violence service provider, is seeking a High Risk Team (HRT) Coordinator to organize and lead Tarrant County’s Intimate Partner Violence High Risk Team. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and leading a multi-disciplinary team that unites law enforcement, medical professionals, victim advocates, and others at the local level to review extreme high risk cases of intimate partner violence (IPV) in Tarrant County.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned: 

The HRT Coordinator will work collectively with the multi-disciplinary team to prioritize victim safety, encourage victim participation in the systemic response to these crimes, and maximize offender accountability. The HRT Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating and planning regular local meetings on IPV high risk cases with community partners, keep track of the identified cases, and coordinate services for the victim to ensure that s/he is safe.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

SafeHaven seeks a candidate with a master’s degree in social work, public health, or equivalent. The candidate should have prior experience in program design, implementation, and management.  The ideal candidate for this position is an individual that understands the complex dynamics of intimate partner violence.
