Battering Intervention and Prevention (BIPP) Group Facilitator
Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA), based in

National Domestic Violence Hotline Operations Director
The National Domestic Violence Hotline (NDVH) Operations Director reports to the NDVH President and is responsible for the supervision and oversight of Hotline operations. The NDVH Operations Director provides leadership and is responsible for aligning staff and resources to fulfill organizational goals and objectives, and for providing administration supervision and oversight for the Hotline.
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $100,000 DOE

Full-Time Counselor
The Family Abuse Center is seeking a full-time, licensed professional to provide individual and group counseling for primary and secondary victims of domestic violence. Key responsibilities include providing counseling (approximate caseload of 20-30 clients), advocacy, intensive case management, domestic violence education, information and referrals. In addition, this individual will be expected to create and implement a non-residential support group program. Other responsibilities include staff support to the crisis line and shelter services when needed. Successful applicants will have a passion for helping women and children in crisis, experience and knowledge concerning the effects of domestic violence, and group facilitation experience. DIRECTOR OF NON-RESIDENTIAL SERVICES
Job Duties:              The Director of Non-Residential Services is responsible for providing and supervising all non-residential client services of the agency. Services include an adult, child and adolescent victim outreach program with service sites in Mesquite, Dallas and

Community Educator, SAHELI for Asian Families—35 or 40hr/week position
The Community Educator will be responsible for increasing awareness of issues related to domestic violence, educating the Asian communities about available intervention and prevention services and collaborating with mainstream service providers with the broader vision of changing societal norms and attitudes that would lead to ending domestic violence and other forms of oppression. The Community Educator will report directly to the Executive Director.Â
Essential Job Functions:
- Organize and develop presentations to the Asian community about domestic violence issues and available resources
- Organize seminars, workshops, book readings, information booths, documentary film screenings, and other educational events
- Develop and/or update brochures, handouts, and other educational material and coordinate their translation into Asian languages
- Conduct awareness campaigns within the Asian community
- Interface with the Asian community and become a resource for community information in regards to other social service issues that affect Asian immigrants
- Build allies with community organizations and businesses for effective outreach
- Develop trainings about the barriers faced by Asian survivors for the legal community, law enforcement and other service providers
- Work on collaborative projects with ally service providers
- Evaluate program and report project data and progress status to the Executive Director
- Perform other duties as required
