The Texas Council on Family Violence is currently accepting applications for the following positions. Click here to download and print copy of TCFV's application. If you are unable to download the application, please call 512/794-1133. All applicants are required to fill out a TCFV application.
Please download and print the application, complete it and mail it to TCFV. It is not necessary for interested applicants to call the job line. However, TCFV must receive a mailed hard copy of the TCFV application from each interested applicant.
Each position applied for requires a separate completed agency application form. Resumes will not be accepted without a completed agency application form for each individual position.

Current Listings
The Development Specialist reports directly to the Chief Development Officer and may receive day to day work direction and assignments from other members of the Development team. The Development Specialist assists in implementing fundraising plans and activities and achieving fundraising goals for TCFV and the National Domestic Violence Hotline.

The Prevention Specialist is a member of the Prevention Team who implements initiatives to build capacity statewide around the primary prevention of domestic violence; supports the development and promotion of grassroots community engagement strategies to end domestic violence; and collaborates with internal and external partners to carry out statewide domestic violence prevention efforts. The Prevention Specialist may either lead or support coworkers on various projects as assigned. The Prevention Specialist reports to the Prevention Manager and will be expected to work with minimal supervision.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline (NDVH) Operations Director reports to the NDVH President and is responsible for the supervision and oversight of Hotline operations. The NDVH Operations Director provides leadership and is responsible for aligning staff and resources to fulfill organizational goals and objectives, and for providing administration supervision and oversight for the Hotline.
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $100,000 DOE

Job Summary: Answer calls on NDVH; make appropriate referrals and provide information and crisis intervention. Offer advocacy as needed to callers and follow up on calls for evaluation.Â
Experience Required: Basic literacy; one year experience in direct services to victims of domestic violence or similar human services programs; six months experience in crisis intervention. Individual shall be able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute. Experience/familiarity with computers with knowledge of Word for Windows and Access preferred. Â

The Policy Analyst reports to the Policy Manager or to the Policy Director, as determined by the Policy Director, and is a member of the Policy Team. This position and Team work to: implement initiatives relating to public policy issues, legislative and regulatory advocacy; create accessible opportunities and resources for economic stability and sustained well-being for survivors of domestic violence and their families; collaborate with housing, civil and criminal justice, and social service systems as well as employers and/or employment and job development agencies; and provide liaison between family violence service providers and state agencies, including the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), the Office of the Governor, the Office of the Attorney General, and the regional Councils of Government.
The Policy Analyst must have excellent communication skills and the ability to conduct effective trainings. A writing sample will be required. Experience working on domestic violence issues is required, with experience working directly with clients in a domestic violence program strongly preferred. This job will involve some travel.
Salary range: $33,000 – 38,000

Family Violence Services Coordinator is responsible for strengthening and expanding the capacity of family violence service providers, for establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with family violence service providers, BIPP’s, and others within the assigned region as well as for responding to requests for training, technical assistance and other requests from programs within these regions. Must possess strong presentation skills and public speaking experience. Thorough knowledge of domestic violence issues and circumstances faced by those experiencing domestic violence A minimum of three years experience in domestic violence programs, which includes providing direct services to survivors and knowledge of BIPP and a minimum of 2 years in developing community education materials including 2 years as a training consultant.
Salary Range: $40K - $60K
