A leadership development initiative designed to support and advance the work of executives charged with overseeing family violence centers. Our goal is to ensure leaders across Texas receive training, personalized technical assistance and support.

New ED Development Program

Are you a new Executive Director?  If so, welcome! We are thrilled you are here and are in your new role leading an incredible agency doing life changing work. Our Executive Director Development Program provides a comprehensive orientation and ongoing support to new Executive Directors for Family Violence programs, just like you.

We celebrate the reality that EDs have diverse backgrounds and experiences. We want to invest in you during these first 3 years of your leadership journey. TCFV will support you in gaining the essential skills and share statewide trends, best practices, and resources necessary to successfully lead your agency.

Tenured Executive Director Program

Are you an Executive Director with 3 years in your role or more? If so, this program is for you! Welcome! Leading an agency in the movement to end family violence is an honor and huge responsibility as well as dynamic and exciting. Our Executive Director Program provides ongoing support to Executive Directors for family violence centers. Whether you are an Executive Director or CEO, a Board of Director Member, a senior leader or part of a C-suite, we offer a number of training options for you on your leadership journey.

We want to support you, sharpen your leadership skills, share statewide trends, best practices, and resources necessary to successfully lead your agency.

Thought Leaders Cohort

Thought Leaders is an intensive cohort-based program for new and tenured Executive Directors and Chief Executive Officers for Texas Family Violence Centers. This program is by invitation only and is designed to offer you an opportunity to expand and enhance leadership skills in a high-impact, transformational experience. Explore your leadership in thoughtful and inspirational ways, coach one another with current issues and questions, network and exchange ideas with other Executive Directors.

What does TLC consist of?

The cohort consists of two in person sessions, each session runs for two days in Austin, Texas and requires travel. TCFV covers lodging and reimburses participants for travel and food per diem.
