Join us for Region 1 (Panhandle Area) TCFV Membership Meeting and learn as William West and Samantha McWhinney focus on the topic: Men and Boys in Prevention.
This workshop will guide the audience through a key framework for engaging men and boys in prevention. Rooted in an intersectional approach, the content will prime staff to think expansively when wanting to engage men and boys.
Learning Objectives
- Describe “gender transformative approach”
- Discuss the importance of engaging men and boys in violence prevention work
- Reflect on their programming’s effectiveness at engaging me and boys
Continuing Education Units
