Join us for Region 9 (North Central Texas) TCFV Regional Membership Meeting and learn as Sarah Hilderbrand provides a “Customized Analysis of HTV (Honoring Texas Victims Report)” for this region and William West focuses on the topic “Men and Boys in Prevention”.
The Learning Objectives for the HTV workshop include:
1. Utilizing data and stories of homicide victims that TCFV collected over the last five years to offer an analysis of intimate partner violence homicides in Texas
2. Guide discussions on addressing regional and local needs in homicide prevention efforts
The Learning Objectives for the prevention workshop include:
1. Describe “gender transformative approach”
2. Discuss the importance of engaging men and boys in violence prevention work
3. Reflect on their programming’s effectiveness at engaging me and boys
