Leading an agency in the movement to end family violence is an honor and huge responsibility as well as dynamic and exciting. Whether you are an Executive Director or a CEO, we offer a number of training options for you on your leadership journey. The new Executive Directors program is designed for Executive Leaders with 3 years or less in their role.
This series includes 7 introductory videos that you will receive every week after your TCFV welcome email. We hope you enjoy the series as you learn more about TCFV.
After receiving all 7 welcome emails, you will receive an invitation to join the networking meeting where you will be able to E-meet other new Executive Directors like you!
The Executive Director Roundtable will take place during the Executive Directors’ Conference. It is a 2 hour in person meeting before the conference starts.
Executive Directors’ Conference is an annual conference hosted by TCFV and TAASA, Texas Association Against Sexual Assault, and features dynamic presenters and showcases state and national trends for executive directors, CEOs, leadership staff, and board members.
The annual conference provides an opportunity to gain deeper knowledge of effective ways to lead organizations supporting survivors of family and sexual violence. We offer CEUs for this conference.

Thought Leaders is an intensive cohort-based program for new and tenured Executive Directors and Chief Executive Officers for Texas Family Violence Centers. This program is by invitation only and is designed to offer you an opportunity to expand and enhance leadership skills in a high-impact, transformational experience.
The Online Board of Directors’ Training Course is designed to help board members better understand their role and how to best serve their agency. This training is designed to satisfy the HHSC requirement for board training, but can be used by agencies that are not funded by HHSC as well. This training will cover 6 modules.
