Leading by Numbers: Finance Professionals
Leading by Numbers is a multi-tiered approach designed to support and advance the work of the emerging or seasoned finance professionals working at family violence services organizations. Our goal is to ensure TCFV family violence service agencies across Texas receive personalized technical assistance and support.
Member Only Resources
Consultations and Trainings
TCFV offers customized finance consultations and training to category I and II members and family violence centers funded by CJD and/or HHSC.
Agency Finance Management Review: provides a consultant on-site for up to 2 days to work with staff to ensure that the agency’s financial policies and procedures are current and in accordance with 2 CFR 200.
Agency Finance Leadership Transition: provides a consultant on-site for up to 3 days to work with staff and board to make an agency assessment and recommendations for financial leadership transition.
Cost allocation: provides virtual or on-site consultant to work with staff to develop tools needed to develop and implement a comprehensive Cost Allocation Plan.
Monitoring/Audit Compliance: provides virtual or on-site consultant to work with staff to review findings and assist staff with developing a compliance plan and response to funders.
TCFV offers a combination of Leading by Numbers in-person and statewide trainings covering critical topics presented by state and national experts.

The annual TCFV Finance Conference features dynamic presenters and showcases state and national trends for the financial staff of family violence services organizations.

Finance Staff Listserv
TCFV’s Finance Listserv is a members-only benefit available to Category I and Category II Family Violence Programs and family violence centers funded by CJD or HHSC. The finance professionals have the opportunity to network with peers, share resources and ideas, and get priority access to resource development information.
